8080 The Position:
The Assembler supports manufacturing operations by performing bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies using hand tools, electronic and pneumatic tooling.
Experience in mechanical or electrical assembly needed.
Responsibilities Include:
Work to standard operating procedures or work instructionsPerform assembly operations to produce complete product directed by manufacturing schedulesUse various fixtures, hand tools and special tools, gauges, and assembly tools to assemble, modify, measure, cut, drill, adjust, test, or repair productsPerform quality control visual inspections or functional operation of material/ product before and after assemblyUtilize good problem solving and troubleshooting skills to check electrical and mechanical performance of completed assembliesNotify supervision discrepancies of work orders, material lists, assembly instructions or equipment malfunctionsCoordinate /communicate with supervisors and leadsMaintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition Follow prescribed safety regulations The Perks:
